Counseling
Our counseling is highly effective for several reasons:
First, we operate from a thoroughly Aristotelian-Thomist perspective. This not only is highly effective at driving change, it also has a much happier set of goals than many other theories of counseling.
Secondly, we ruthlessly promote selfless love for our clients. Counseling is not an ordinary friendship, but it is friendship nonetheless. We work zealously to love our clients and to communicate that love effectively.
Third, we are action-oriented. Some people need patient understanding, but most people who seek counseling want to feel better and the faster the better. Therefore, we work continuously to refine methods that help people start living more happily now, not next week or next year.
Finally, we are thoroughly Catholic and Christian. We do not insist our clients are Catholic and we do not judge souls, but the Catholic approach is kindly, beautiful, and dignified.
Life Coaching
If you
- Have a well-defined set of practical goals;
- Are willing to approach change as teaching or tutoring, rather than psychotherapy;
- Have mainly obstacles rather than emotional issues;
- Want to finish sooner but at a cost that may be higher per session than counseling (depending on insurance)...
